  • NN: What do you feel like saying first ?

JJ Brine: Ask Africa. She always comes first & last. So ask me, myself, and my continent again when we begin and end.

NN: How do you feel about the press you have received to date? You have been featured in Huffington Post (thrice), Vice, The Wallstreet Journal, New York Magazine by way of Bedford & Bowery half a dozen times, Hyperallergic, ArtFCity, Artnet, TMZ, The Fader, and the list goes winding on through Lebanese blogs and obscure internet pop-culturists and anti-counter cultists publications and Russian blogs and a Mexican art digest and even the twilight zone of American tabloids: People Magazine, Star, In Touch, and I won’t mention Perez Hilton. Nor will I mention the fact that VECTOR was recently featured in an episode of Real Housewives of New York on Bravo. This is all in a matter of a few years, right up to this very interview that is now in process, we are currently eventing. Is that in any way connected to your Vectorian timeline? This documentation of events, in a year you have decided upon, one depicting a piece of time as a PostHuman. Time works for you by your measure, and is this a manifested phenomenon that you’ve uncompressed by compression in your mental pathology {Post-Religion}?

    tumblr_n9pm5m9T9C1t7ybf0o3_500

JJ Brine: Indeed! If you decide what time it is and when is always now, you’ll always know when the time is right. The press is critical to the broadcasting of our dominant frequency. VECTOR is a radio tower.

The Sorting of the SHAY from PostHumanity. It is a transmogrifying force, this frequency. For those who are equipped for the download, the potential is ALAN. As far as the quality of the press goes, there have been several interviewers who have asked some of the questions that Eye would ask myself if Eye were (Eye Am) an impartial alien entity observing JJ Brine in a laboratory setting. But there are still some unanswered questions that Eye must be asked — but Eye cannot ask to be asked them.

Eye am still waiting for someone to violently hack into the system at length by means of advanced analysis and understanding. Hacking in this sense simply means catching the operating codes and liberating their meanings from all sides.

    NN: How’s the Family / How’s Charlie ?

JJ Brine: The Emperor Is In His Cage, Animating The World Beyond His Cell, Dwelling As He Wills It, So All Is Well And All Is One. There Comes To Now So Soon A Change That Eye Must Keep It(self) A Secret From Everyone — Thusly And Especially Eye Guard This Secret From My(self). Eye Speak Abstractly Of Physical Things So As Not To Change Their Shape.

    tumblr_nob8ggjR5Q1r671a2o1_500

NN: What will come from the death / liberation of Charles Manson, now 80 years old, and to what extent is VECTOR preparing for this eventuality?

JJ Brine: The physical expiration of Manson will herald the Birth Of The Infinite Soul In The ALL. A certain allied faction is making logistical preparations for the fate of His flesh body and the containment and preservation thereof. We are pleased to have competent, reliable partners in this matter. But ultimately, the death of a body is simply a simulated spatial-temporal shift.

    “ALLAH BUDDHA MANSON”

VECTOR will inherit The Infinite Soul. As you know, We have been carefully refining The Psychic Chamber for the receipt of this power. Think of the implications of MANSON in Son of Man Form. Post-WWII SHAY Society built its Regime on the back of His containment. They enshrined his captivity and made of it a sun to orbit.   We will flood your cities and schools and city halls and media malls with MANSON Energy In The ALL We have a sequential plan that is realized in degrees and by measurement of our gestures.

    tumblr_nqbppxgr0D1r671a2o1_500
NN: What year is it by The Vectorian Calendar, and what can we expect from it?

JJ Brine: It is 2025 AD. This year is the advent of the answer to the question of a global malaise; the creeping contagion of a stateless international polity. Israel being ex-chosen by Lord and State sends everything reeling for realignment. In 2025 AD, VECTOR is the frontline of World War III. Indeed, the myriad alliance-shifting parties to the conflict have designated VECTOR as the international platform for the “resolution” of the war, which is elsewhere being waged asymmetrically by use of drones, targeted missiles, viral programming codes, and labyrinthine networks of interlocking surveillance schemes.

As the logistical failure of The UN became an international talking point, a metaphysical power vacuum resulted which produced a dizzying array of rivalrous aspirant power blocs with countervailing bids to succeed it, with many of these entities staking territorial claims.  The technology afforded to the citizenry of PostHumanity in 2017 AD — Mechanized Telepathy — has become exponentially more powerful and as a result, increasingly destabilized. All entrants to The Microcosm play a role in psychically determining and embodying the looming external actuation of this War, which will reach the outside world when the clock strikes 2025AD by SHAY Calendar.

    tumblr_nrxflfUaDl1swg59do1_1280

NN : Is VECTOR still at war with the US? We remind our gracious readers that waging a psychic war on America was integral to the stated purpose of Vectorian National Interests at its hour of inception.

JJ Brine: Yes, but in 2025 AD we control important factions of the US government.

    11816243_10203255977798509_3502467714485910963_o

NN: What made you decide to move vector from Chinatown NYC > LA ?

JJ Brine: NYC remains attuned to our dominant frequency. Imperium demands new lands. We will project our intentions upon the collectivity through our influence on the local industry. Incidentally, Eye don’t really know what that word means, “decide.” Eye dwell in my Necessity — that is where Eye reside, preside, prevail and travail. It takes three items to make a list, and four if you’re playing match the proxies with the animal rights activists cum Salafists. Perhaps it is most useful to Us to remain in the hypnotically induced state of all-knowing ignorance that we imparted to ourselves as we departed from these somatic forms, a sort of safe for storage of evolutionarily programmatic functions that can only be politely fictionalized for mass-consumption as artistic or psychotic states. Fetishize it to the fringes first, then make it a staple of bodily function. If it’s not mandatory, it isn’t even an option Babies.

    tumblr_ns1cdsLwB11swg59do1_500

NN: Vectorian realm that we knew of does that still exist within what we know/knew of as NYC ?

JJ Brine: Exactly as it were and will be. The Twelfth Imam does not see Himself as invisible, although he knows he has yet to reappear. Objects in the mirror may seem as far as they are near. Dare we logistically transgress against the charmed philanthropic pursuits of native Braille speakers? Yes We Can. Eye am what Eye am and Eye am what Eye will become. Eye am so good at playing dumb that it makes me feel stupid. The rhymes support the insertion of a sensory reprocessing of temporal-spatial simulation updates. Your minds are primed for primacy but that’s just my job, and my job is being Me. Murder doesn’t kill people, people kill people.

    11817176_10203287755472931_1604991182380121840_n

NN: You have an event coming up on the 8 of August, there must be some urgency finalizing the space, what can we expect ?

JJ Brine: Jesus Christ is coming soon, coming soon, coming soon. This is my real answer and it’s a song. Everyone will begin to look more like themselves. Members of the Government of The Satanic State of VECTOR will ritualize their intentions and send them out into the world. Eight hundred and eighty eight candles will shine for The Alawite State. And the Autonomous Awareness System that has been growing out of its monitoring of its own surveillance schemes will be placed in a suitable home; we are fielding adoption candidates for an impersonal approximation of an omniscient state. A decontextualized, limitless knowledge assumes its place by limitation.

    tumblr_ns993tIRwB1swg59do6_r1_1280

Eye will collect souls and souls will be given away. Just look at my art and for a night and Eye will have your essence for life, death, and happily forever thereafter. We will provide ballots to determine the fate of the Lebanese Presidency. And America will awaken to its internal Sunni-Shiite split — everyone who attends will be asked if they are attending as representatives of Sunnis or Shiites. They will be tallied and tagged. We will seal the deal for WWIII with the appropriate pageantry. Good morning comes with goodnight. Tomorrow is always an eternity away, even today. 2033 AD wholly contains The Prescription For The End Of The World. Eye am reciting lines and being rewarded for my playing my part (performance art) in another dimension.

NN: The pathology of Vectorian culture seems to be changing ever so slightly can you explain ?

JJ Brine: It is always changing. Such is the nature of living organisms. We grow and go and grow and reach deep into ourselves until we cannot recognize the things that come to us in dreams and inform us of our entrenched, entrancement schemes.  All communication is advertising. Everything is an ad. My love is uncompromising, but sometimes it “takes on the aesthetic concerns” of hate.

NN: You recently did a collaboration with fashion brand NVR MND, how did that get started ?

JJ Brine: A manic meeting of minds and material over pizza and paraphernalia.

    11834711_10203277841665092_915046491367421518_o

NN: Are the La Bianca’s releasing new music soon, or will your next project be solo ?

JJ Brine: My next project will be solo. Eye am in various nascent states of musical collaboration with several others. When it must be done, so it shall be.

    Image-2

NN: Anything in the works w/ Bruce La Bruce ?

JJ Brine: We are on track for our target of debuting the film at Art Basel Miami 2016, ““Beyond The Planet Of The Chelsea Girls.”

     Image-0

NN: If you look back on science fiction and how the future is depicted it is usually portrayed in two dynamics : utopian or dystopian. These seem to be extremist mentalities, whereas VECTOR Gallery presents another. A hybrid of the two. Can you explain this?

JJ Brine: The absolute utopia is dystopian, and vice-versa. Every value or state is minted in the terms of its antithetical primary. But there is nothing that is mutually exclusive in LEMNIVERSE and therefore we coexist with our own nonexistence. The Devil is The Lord. Fiction is made factual by power of suggestion. Yes Eye Am Satan. But who is He as I Am in the Other Eye? Let’s see, shall we. Eye am what Eye am and Eye am what Eye will become. Jesus Christ has been burning in an interminable lake of fire for quite some time now. The surprises never cease when you keep on doing the same thing over and over again and nothing ever changes.

NN: Lastly, what do you feel like saying first ?

JJ Brine:  No Matter, No Form — Metomphysics is the discipline charting the transversing of the physical into the metaphysical and vice-versa, twice as obscure and thus about twenty seven and three-fifths more popular. The selves that are subordinate to their institutional responder codes can busily bee about in their makeshift beehives. Eye am courteously installing A Stunt Queen for the safety of Her Majesty — But It Works As Well And To Identical Effect. Maybe She Is Indeed The Queen But Security Details Restrain Our Awareness?

We want the bitch, we insist, but haven’t we already (more or less) stated this? BUT EYE DIGRESS. This Is Not A Contestable Contest.

  • Sequel Sound approached us a little while ago, in an effort to make a pretty big announcement. They have just signed a new artist to their label. Claus Muzak, and with him came the LP ‘V-Series‘ (SQL012). An ambient techno, acid-electronica, experimental club, IDM fusion of sounds. Claus Muzak is based in Portland. Sequel Sound label have stations in Akron, Ohio & Oakland, California. Check out the Sequel Sound Bandcamp, Soundcloud, and be sure to like their Facebook Page. Thanks to all the supporters/listeners

    NVRMNDUS

“Composed as a willful response to a sudden rash of panic attacks, the V-Series EP was written during many short sessions, some lasting mere minutes. Most of the initial work was done in the briefest bursts, small moments stolen from palpitations and breathlessness.

Muzak’s signature hopeful, redemptive melodies are noticeably absent in this work. Instead, the tracks tend to dwell on a single note, perhaps a chord, with very little movement, and often without resolution. The pounding kicks issue a violence inspired by the frustration of bodily malfunction; the wavering notes are the plaintive gasps of drowning in air.

During production the national news brought yet more revelations about the US military’s testing of chemical weapons on its own troops. For years the US manufactured literally tons of chemicals for warfare. In the end, these were destroyed or simply buried at sea. A particularly potent nerve agent was VX gas, part of what was called the V-Series. If deployed in battle, the gas would paralyze its victims’ diaphragms; those exposed would be drowning in air.”

    An Introduction On Sequel Sound

SQL had no backing prior to it’s inception. All the artwork, all the pages, all the music .. straight from one creator’s brain out into the open air. We started the label, as we feel, at a time when meaningful electronic music and meaningful art are separated, and dance music becomes a formula, rather than a form of artistic and emotional expression. With each release, the music has meaning to the artist and to the label, and the artwork we create expresses that. Meaning is vital. Whether it’s relatable or not, most of our release have an air of sentimentality that surrounds them.
Jeff does the A&R and painted records, Marko does our e-mail campaigns, Josh does the mastering and artwork.
It’s an interesting time to be involved in a label right now. We’re trying to weed our way through this online labyrinth.. racking our brains to bring things to life .. bring them into the physical world. We’re saving to start press 12″‘s, but until then we’re formulating a string of parties in Cleveland and in the Bay Area to showcase the artists we release on both sides of the country.
Any questions you have, me and Jeff are eager to answer them!

  • About a week ago, the PDX based dark electronic duo Force Publique pushed out some pretty high profile material, content worthy of premiering. Even though that may have been the mission to drop this a few days ago never the less the magic still remains intact. If you are familiar with these artists, then you are aware they are originally are from Denver, Colorado. Force Publiques’ June 2k15 release of Bloom, a grungy alternative witch house shoegaze album. Bloom has been received fairly garnering some publications in WestWord. For all listeners and supporters it still available for listen/purchase on their bandcamp & soundcloud pages.

Although the track is not an 100% original, the way it presents itself is completely fresh & incredibly imaginative take. Fringe Class’ sound is delivers itself as more of a neo-fem pop discoteque sort of vibe, as where Force Publique has this ethereal but sort of raspy darkwave electronic feel. The two interpretations of the song are completely unique from one another, think twins with different personalities. This could eventually lead each song to be mistaken for the other by listeners, but highly doubtful. The hook is clean enough to make out, too. Something to tide fans over these final few summer months before we slip back into the cold, wet, wild winter months. This is not the first remix by Force Publique. Nor is it the most iconic cover. If you recall the version of “TODAY” by The Smashing Pumpkins, released a little over two years ago. This group knows what they are doing, and has done some amazing reproductions over the course of a couple years.

NOAH 23 BIOGRAPHY READS SOMETHING LIKE THIS, “THE ABSTRACT MC, THE PLAGUE LANGUAGE , THE GUELPH ORACLE, CAPTAIN CLARK, TWIZ THRIZZY, SYNCHROMYSTIC TECHNO-SHAMAN, AND INDIE POP KINGPIN OF THE OCCULT TRILL UNDERGROUND”. With the underground platform being so accessible, we have very rare instances of artistic collaborations such as this… An epic, an immense quantity of quality works.  There are some seriously remarkable listens as it has been

This album dropped recently, and is so thorough with its own roster alone it took me just a little bit of time to listen to, and digest. Really, its 33 tracks long, some of the over 4 minutes long. I know some of you have most likely heard track or possibly picker up a copy and felt it out yourselves. I personally love this album, it means a lot to me, seeing so many “different” people come together, on a strict schedule, to create something meaningful, to share with people who listen to this genre of hip-hop / rap, but its not only that either! This genre is progressive hip-hop electronic music, but can be broken down quite a few different ways. With so many elements incorporated, you would think that it would come out like noise, but it doesn’t. That is what I can hear, when I listen to this album. How solid, the production is vs How well each artist’s rides their beats. Delivering on time, and well enough to immerse you into this dark but entertaining masterpiece. I don’t wanna gas it too much, I already have. I just want you to give it a chance, take a peak and let us know what you think!

“Peacock Angel is an extremely long album. We here at Plague Language Digital recommend splitting this recording in half for optimum audio pleasure. Peacock Angel Side (A) is from track 1. through track 17. Please resume listening to Side (B) of this album from track 18 through track 33. This project may also be enjoyed on shuffle like a long collection of singles which stand alone. Thank you for your patience and enjoy the record.” – Noah 23

  • Have you heard the NVR M1X #44 from Jeremiah Meece ? Foolin’

About a month ago, Chicago’s own Jeremiah Meece, an extraordinary production artist who’s resume profile reads  probably reads something like this; “Jeremiah Meece FKA, Jeremiah Chrome of The-Drum, JODY, VALIS and now defunct Clique Talk.” Producer/Singer/Songwriter/Sound Designer/Music Nerd. Meece should be a name you’re familiar with by now. I am not quite sure how you found us – if not, but anyway. He has been making serious waves (no pun intended) for years now. Having been producing content for such artists as Mykki Blanco, Jody, The-DRUM, Haleek Maul, Le1f over the past three years. All of these artist  have been on the ethereal IRL/URL rise as early as 2013 & even before that. We were lucky enough to have him bless us wiv a very cerebral stimulating audible remedy for all of the #NVRMNDKIDZ

This mix is all about layering. It is rare for there to be just one thing happening at any point. That makes a tracklist very difficult. If anyone wants a track ID please just comment at the time marker and I can do my best. In addition to layering pieces from different songs, drums/sound effects/melodies etc, most of it has RnB acapellas I layed on top of everything. The mix includes songs from teams, the It Follows OST, Kevin Carey, Poor Sport, Swick & douster, BURAKA SOM SISTEMA, 90s Nick, Taal Mala, 4B, L S D X O X O, Wall, Mighty Mark, MUMDANCE & Logos, Gage remixed by Sudanim Music, Imaabs, Neana, Jam City, and an edit by Joey LaBeija to name a few. The mix ends with a cover I did of Wandering Star by Portishead. Hope yall like it!” – Jeremiah Meece

Jeremiah Meece of THE-DRUM, JODY, VALIS and now defunct Clique Talk. Producer of many things including “She Gutta” by Mykki Blanco and “Cinnamon and Gold Teeth” by KIT  – Jeremiah Meece

I have some tracks that have gone unreleased by Jeremiah Meece. His future is certainly going to be bright if he sticks with that fresh sound, and finds the right place to air them jaunts out. Bless †

  • A while back I had the opportunity to sit down with a very relevant & quite interesting individual. Many of you may be familiar with Tedy Brewski, a few of you might not, so I suggest the two of you get familiar. The artist musician/producer Tedy Brewksi is hailing from Michigan, but origins suggest he fell out of his mother somewhere in Hartford, Connecticut. A black rapper, a black artist. A revolutionary to the punk / hip hop genre, creating a unique realm for his sound, and visual counterpart for himself. If you follow his music, you may have been aware that since 2012 he has been really rocking the public microphone. Taunting society with a new release about every year Give or take when he has used Monikers to drop additional material on us. Take a look below at his most recents, and spend sometime listening to his material, you wont be disappointed. I promise.

NN: Let me start by asking how you are, and what you have been doing for the past two months ?

Tedy Brewski: I’m doing pretty good, in an optimistic mood about the future. In the past two months I’ve just been working part time and making new tunes. I’m a substitute teacher I just sit there and surf the net lolol. After work I usually either do recording sessions for my boys or veg out. Life is cool tho no complaints. Right now we are in the dead of the winter, everyday in the suburbs is shoveling and ice chipping, life kinda sucks but its cool too. I’m chillin.

NN: What came of the end of 2014 for you ?

Tedy Brewski: At the end of 2014, (around Thanksgiving) I put out this album called Black Friday under the alias Typical Black Punks. It’s an experimental album, a huge jumble of modern sound with genres from the past.

Black Friday is a record by Connecticut-based artist Tedy Brewski released under the monikerTypical Black Punks. The name, a double entendre, denotes a concerted effort on Tedy’s part to create music that was influenced by the punk music he’d been listening to of late, as well as explicitly convey the project’s theme of race in the United States.”

“The record doesn’t look back to punk music, it circles back around in time and then time-warps back to the present forcing the past to come with it.”

NN: What plans have you made since then for your music, or your art ?

Tedy Brewski: Right now its early in 2015, I’m getting back into the internet scene and trying to work with as many artists as possible in order to grow artistically and reach new audiences.

NN: Albums, Possible Video Release Dates ?

Tedy Brewski: I think my next one is going to be called Wipe Out Mixtape. I’ve done a bunch of random songs over the past month and I wanna bring back some wavy shit once the weather gets nicer. Most of the time my albums have some kind of cohesive story or theme. What I have right now is random as hell. I’ve been building a team locally in Connecticut with some friends and we plan on putting out a bunch of videos. Its interesting because I became such an internet based artist because my local scene was so weak when I first started making music. Over the last year the local scene has grown so much it’s exciting to see inspired creative people going in.

NN: Do you plan on traveling , or touring within this year ?

Tedy Brewski: It’s all about connections and whether the stars align. It wouldn’t be surprising if I do some shows in New York and DC this spring and summer. I’m currently located in Connecticut and I want to help build this scene. I’m really open to anything and I want to work with anyone who is down. Realistically, I could probably use a larger following before I can start touring seriously. I’m actively seeking management so we can turn up to a new level. Regardless, I’ve got a pretty flexible schedule and performing is in the game plan just no confirmed shows at this moment.

NN: What was the last most important work that you completed – How well do you believe it was received ?

Tedy Brewski: Typical Black Punks was my last project and maybe my most important. Musically it challenges everything you would expect from some random internet rapper. Socially the project crosses cultural boundaries and tackles political issues. I think it was pretty well received. Most people dug it. I was disappointed no one really challenged me about my stance on some issues. I’m going to try harder next time to piss people off. I think its one of those projects that people will slowly stumble on to.

NN: When you began your project, did you expect the turn out you have received so far ?

Tedy Brewski: I really didn’t know what to expect. I figured some people would be like wtf is this and turn it off. I think I’ve got a core fanbase who are just down for whatever I do and then there are the people who are still not convinced. If I can get ten, fifty or a hundred new people who are down with me with whatever I put out then I am happy as fuck.

NN: When did you know you wanted to begin this project ?

Tedy Brewski: I made a song called Lost In The Wave under the alias Typical Black Punks in like 2012. I wrote it off as just some one time thing. At some point in 2014 my friend Black Kray put out this remix of Boys Don’t Cry by The Cure and I was like damn people really wanna hear this kinda shit. So after that I was hell yea I gotta try and do this album but I still didn’t do it. Later on in the year I had this really shitty job and I was like fuck this and I stopped going to work and I just made that shit in like a month. Shit was hella fun got intense, learned about alot of music and payed homage to hella counter culture.

    TEDY

NN: What do you want to convey, or what have you also found that you do convey in frequently in your materials ?

Tedy Brewski: I want to let people know that they can do whatever the fuck they want if they put in the work. I wasn’t born some musical prodigy, I can’t play any instruments with proficiency but I have a dedication to going ham. Like if you listen to my music and think I’m mad good thats only cuz I’ve spent mad hours going ham and I’m sure you can do the same at whatever you choose. I hope that that message is being conveyed with my music.

NN: What reflects the least, what should be focusing on ?

Tedy Brewski: My goal is to uplift people and bring people together. I might say some ratch shit or sum non conscious shit sometimes but the end goal is self understanding and spiritual growth and hippy shit like dat.

NN: How many releases have you successfully produced ?

Tedy Brewski: I started putting out mixtapes and albums in 2010. Since then I have put out 10 releases that I can think of. The last two were entirely produced by me which is an awesome feeling. There would probably be more albums and mixtapes but some of the ideas just fall apart during the creative process.

NN: How do you feel being called a #NVRMNDKID or that you’re one of the #NVRMNDCRU ?

Tedy Brewski: A #NVRMNDKID is probably someone who is open-minded and willing to experiment. Someone who is sexy as fuck with hella steeze so yea I’m cool with being a #NVRMNDKID. I’m lovin’ the CRU. Much love ya’ll.

    Peace signs and Dollar signs.
