Brace yourselves for a heavily relentless, and often more – than not chaotic pulse fired from the HŮMΔN ŦRΔFFIC cannon. This is a very abrasive-freq, unique too – it is an experiential environment of powerful music, check out the interview below :: :: ::

NN: Let me start by asking how you are, and what you have been doing for the past two months?
HŮMΔN ŦRΔFFIC: Not sleeping… We survived the nuclear winter without killing each other. Just got back from doing a tour on the west coast not that long ago. Everything is kind of a blur at the moment. It was our first time going out that direction and it seemed to have gone over rather well. Already planning our next method of escape. Aside from that we have been busy operating our venue (negative space) here in town and focusing on the completion of our album. It’s been hectic. The party never ends.
NN: What came of the end of 2014 for you?
HŮMΔN ŦRΔFFIC: Cleaning up someone else’s mess… Trying to put the pieces back together again. That’s pretty much it. The day after new years we packed up the whip and drove seven hours to Texas. It’s been a recovering process ever since. We seem to be making progress.
NN: What plans have you made since then for your music, or your art?
HŮMΔN ŦRΔFFIC: We don’t make plans… People change. We like to remain spontaneous and lost in the moment. Going to keep pumping out content though and see what happens. The future looks bright. Almost fluorescent.
NN: Albums, Possible Video Release Dates?
HŮMΔN ŦRΔFFIC: Timing is everything and also nothing… We are currently working on a video for our soon to be released single. We have also accumulated a number of remixes from our last release – digital ecstasy – that will be formatted into a compilation album of some sort. Other than that, finishing the record and getting it out there is top priority over anything else.

NN: Do you plan on traveling, or touring within this year?
HŮMΔN ŦRΔFFIC: Late into summer… We’ll probably hit up the east coast this time around and potentially do some damage in Canada as well. Trying to make Japan and Russia happen too at some point. We’ve had offers come our way. Doesn’t make much sense, but we’ll take it. The world is our ashtray.
NN: What was the last most important work that you completed – How well do you believe it was received?
HŮMΔN ŦRΔFFIC: It is no longer important… We can only hope that the new material is well received, but hope is also a lack of information. And it is in our nature to constantly and desperately crave data. We are all addicted to something.
NN: When you began your project, did you expect the turn out you have received so far?
HŮMΔN ŦRΔFFIC: It’s best to not have any expectations… You’ll be happier with lower standards. The overall reception is defined by the quality of the product being presented. In order for it to progress any further than so must the inherent value and effort put forth into doing so. Unless luck is on your side and you happen to be in the right place at the right time. We believe in accidents and the power at which they occur. Some of us aren’t so blessed. It’s been good thus far.
NN: When did you know you wanted to begin this project?
HŮMΔN ŦRΔFFIC: When punk became not about being a punk anymore… So like, two years ago maybe.
NN: What do you want to convey, or what have you also found that you do convey in frequently in your materials?
HŮMΔN ŦRΔFFIC: Honesty… Because that is what we lack the most right now. We want to provide you with an alternative to a frail deteriorating reality by creating tension through textural aggression and perseverance through audio / visual manipulation. There is no direct message or hidden agenda, though our actions aim to unveil what lurks behind the masks the monsters where. There is no religion higher than truth. You will soon be exposed.

NN What reflects the least, what should be focusing on?
HŮMΔN ŦRΔFFIC: If you can’t spit at your own reflection in the mirror then you have a problem… What tends to reflect the least is the level of authenticity. How much is too much, and how much of yourself are you willing to let go and give to someone else?
NN: How many releases have you successfully produced?
HŮMΔN ŦRΔFFIC: Define success… Nothing is ever good enough. We just see ourselves as documenting various failures and presenting them in a recontextualized form void of any allure.
NN: How do you feel being called a #NVRMNDKID or that you’re one of the #NVRMNDCRU?
HŮMΔN ŦRΔFFIC: You can call us whatever you want… It’s important for anyone to be part of a crew or clique, and somehow indebted to his or her youth. Unfortunately, some of us may never touch the sun.
